The six questions we get most
What is the minimum load you will accept?
There is no minimum on a part load — we have carried consignments of a hundred kilos. Below about five hundred kilos, though, a courier or parcel service is usually cheaper than road freight, and we will tell you so.
Do you insure the goods?
Carrier liability under the consignment note is limited. For full value cover we arrange a transit insurance policy in your name against the declared invoice value, quoted separately at the time of booking.
How is a part load charged?
On chargeable weight — the higher of actual weight and volumetric weight for the space the consignment occupies. The basis is stated on the quotation before you accept it.
Who raises the e-way bill?
The sender (consignor) generally raises Part A. We update Part B with the vehicle number, and we update it again on every vehicle change. If you would rather we raised the whole bill, we can, on written authorisation.
Can I get a monthly account instead of paying per consignment?
Yes. Regular senders (consignors) are put on a credit account with a monthly statement per GSTIN. Terms are agreed with the accounts desk after the first few movements.
What happens if the truck breaks down?
The operations desk arranges a replacement vehicle and the goods are transshipped under our supervision. The e-way bill Part B is updated with the new vehicle, and the change appears in your portal with the time it happened.
